As an agent in the app, you can create custom saved searches for your clients using the “Create Agent Saved Search” feature in the dashboard. This lets you deliver personalized, up-to-date property listings that match each client’s specific criteria — so they always see the most relevant homes on the market.
Only you (the agent) can edit or delete a saved search you create. Your clients will not be able to modify or delete it, though they can remove it from their view.
Create a saved search in the Dashboard
Follow these steps to set up a saved search for a client directly from the agent dashboard.
Step 1. Log in to the Agent Dashboard.
Step 2. From the left side menu, click Users.
Step 3. Find the client you want to create a saved search for, then click Create search to the right of their name.
Step 4. In the Saved Search Name field (top left), enter a name that’s easy to distinguish from other saved searches. You can also select a premade search template to apply.
Step 5. We recommend leaving the email and push notification toggles on, but you can disable either if needed.
Step 6. Define the search area by entering a city or zip code in the field above the map and selecting it from the dropdown. For a more precise boundary, use the Draw on Map tool — click the hand icon in the lower left corner of the map, then click to place points. Connect the last point back to the first to close the area.
Note: A saved search can only cover one area. If you need to cover multiple areas for the same client, create a separate saved search for each one.
Step 7. On the right side, apply any filters for this saved search (price, beds, baths, property type, etc.).
Step 8. Click Save Search. The saved search will now appear under Agent Saved Search.
Create a saved search in the App
You can also create a saved search for a client directly from the HomeStack mobile app.
Step 1. Tap the Filters button in the upper right corner. Select your preferences, then tap Apply filters at the bottom.
Step 2. Tap the Search bar at the top and enter the area you want the filters applied to, or use the Draw on Map feature to define a custom boundary.
Step 3. Once the filters and area are set, tap the floating bar that reads Save this search.
Step 4. Tap Assign search to and search for the client by name. Tap their name to assign the search to them. (Note: clients can remove saved searches you create for them.)
Step 5. Name the saved search and select notification preferences.
Step 6. Tap Save search. You’re done!
