If you are attempting to download the app and receive the message 'Not Enough Space' that indicates that your device storage is at near capacity. Below are the options you have available to free up space on your Device.
DELETE PHOTOS
- Open up your Photos app.
- Tap on Albums.
- Tap on Recents.
- Tap on the Select option located at the top-right corner and select the photos you wish to delete and tap on the Trash can in the lower right.
- Tap Albums in the top left corner.
- Scroll down to the bottom and tap on Recently Deleted.
- Repeat step 4 to permanently delete All Photos in this Folder.
Note: Make sure you back up all your photos on a computer or external hard drive that you do not want to lose permanently. Once an image is permanently deleted from the device it cannot be recovered.
DELETE UNUSED APPS
- Go to device Settings.
- Tap on General.
- Tap on iPhone Storage.
- Select the App that you want to delete.
- Select the option to Delete or Offload App the App. To increase storage on your device select Delete.
Note: The Offload option removes the App, while keeping its Documents & Data on your device. This is not a optimal selection when attempting to increase device storage availability.
DELETE SAFARI HISTORY & CACHE
- Go to device Settings.
- Tap on Safari.
- Scroll down and tap on Clear History and Website Data option.
- Tap on Clear History and Data option to confirm.
DELETE DOWNLOADED MUSIC
- Go to device Settings.
- Tap on Music.
- Scroll down and Tap on Downloaded Music.
- Tap on Edit in the top right corner.
- From here you can delete songs individually or delete all downloaded music.
DELETE DOWNLOADED BOOKES
- Go to the Apple Books App on your device.
- Tap on the Library tab located in the bottom menu.
- Tap on the Edit option located at the top right corner of your screen.
- Select books that you want to delete by tapping on the little circle next to the books.
- Tap on the Trash can icon located in the bottom left corner.
- Tap on Remove Downloads option to remove the selected books.
DELETE MESSAGES
- Go to Messages.
- Tap on the circle with 3 dots near the top right.
- Select 'Select Messages'.
- Select all the messages you wish to delete.
- Confirm you wish the delete selected messages.
DELETE VOICEMAIL MESSAGES
- Open the Phone app.
- Tap on the Voicemail Icon on the bottom right corner.
- Tap Edit on the top right corner
- Tap on all the messages you wish to delete.
- Tap on delete in the bottom right corner.
Note: There is no prompt to confirm you wish to delete a message. Once the delete button is tapped on the message is permanently deleted and this action cannot be undone.
TURN OFF SHARED ALBUMS
- Go to device Settings.
- Tap on Photos.
- Toggle off Shared Albums.
Note: Please use caution when deleting items from your device. We encourage you to backup your device on a computer and iCloud before making any changes.
