Tags allow you to organize, segment, and personalize communication with users inside your real estate app. By assigning tags such as First Time Home Buyer, Seller, Luxury Client, or Open House Lead, you can better understand user intent, tailor outreach, and create more meaningful follow-ups.
Tags can be used across multiple features in the platform, including push notifications, searches, and user management, helping you stay organized while delivering a more personal experience to your clients.
How Tags Work
Tags are labels that can be applied to users in your app. Each user can have multiple tags, and tags can be reused across different users.
Tags can be:
- Private to a single agent
- Or made available to all agents, depending on how they are configured
The number of users assigned to each tag is displayed directly on the Tags page, giving you quick visibility into your audience segments.
How to View Existing Tags
- Log into your Agent Dashboard.
- From the left-hand menu, click Tags.
- You will see a list of all existing tags.
- Each row shows:
- The tag name
- The number of users assigned to that tag
- Whether the tag is available to all agents
- From this screen, you can edit or delete existing tags.
How to Create a New Tag
- From the Tags page, click Create Tag in the top right.
- Enter a Tag Name.
- Choose a Tag Color from the dropdown.
- If you want this tag to be usable by all agents, enable Make available to all agents.
- Click Save Tag.
The tag will now appear in the Tags list and can be applied to users.
How to Edit a Tag
- Locate the tag you want to update.
- Click Edit to the right of the tag.
- Update the tag name, color, or availability settings.
- Click Save Tag to apply the changes.
How to Delete a Tag
- Find the tag you want to remove.
- Click Delete to the right of the tag.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Deleting a tag removes it from the system and unassigns it from any users who previously had it.
Applying Tags to Users
Tags are applied at the user level and can be assigned in multiple ways, including:
- Manually through user profiles
- Automatically through certain features such as Open House Mode or imports
- During outreach workflows, depending on your setup
Once a user is tagged, that tag can be used to filter, segment, and target users across the platform.
Why Tags Matter
Using tags helps you:
- Segment users by intent or lifecycle stage
- Send more relevant push notifications
- Organize leads from open houses, searches, and campaigns
- Create a more personalized experience for clients
- Improve follow-up timing and messaging
Tags turn your user list into an actionable, organized system instead of a generic database.
