When an app user submits a showing request from within your real estate app, that request is sent to you in the app and automatically appears in your Agent Dashboard. This allows you to quickly respond to buyer interest and manage showings from one central place.
How Showing Requests Appear in the Dashboard
When a showing request is first submitted, it may appear directly on your dashboard homepage if it is still pending. This gives you quick visibility into requests that need action.
Once a showing request has been accepted or moved out of a pending state, it will no longer appear on the homepage. All showing requests, regardless of status, can always be viewed by navigating to the Showings section in the Agent Dashboard.
To access all showing activity at any time, click Showings from the left-hand menu.
Viewing Showing Requests
At the top of the Showings page, you’ll see filter tabs that allow you to organize requests by status:
- Current
- Past
- All
- Pending
- Negotiating
- Booked
- Cancelled
Each showing request displays the property address, listing ID, user name, requested date and time, and the current status of the request. You can also use the search bar to filter showing requests by user name or email address.
Opening a Showing Request
Click View on any showing request to open the full details. Inside the request, you’ll see:
- Property information and listing ID
- User contact information
- Requested date and time
- Any notes submitted by the user
- The current showing status
Responding to a Showing Request
From the showing detail view, you have three response options:
Accept This Time - Confirm the requested showing time. Once accepted, the showing status updates to Booked.
Suggest Different Time - Propose an alternative date and time for the showing. Enter the new date and time, add an optional message if needed, and send the counter-offer to the user.
Cancel Showing - Cancel the showing request entirely. You’ll be asked to confirm before the cancellation is finalized.
Tracking Showing Activity
As showing requests move through different stages, they will automatically appear under the appropriate status tab.
Past showings remain available for reference, allowing you to review activity and maintain accurate records.
